Rillington North Yorkshire

One of the larger villages within the area, Rillington is 4 miles east of Malton and 19 miles west of Scarborough. 

It is bisected by the A64T York to Scarborough road with development fronting the road.  It lies on the northern foothills of the Yorkshire Wolds.

The heart of the village is the crossroads between the A64 and Low Moor to Thorpe Basset road.  Here businesses and dwellings cluster together.  To the south east side of the village is a large housing estate.

In terms of services and amenities Rillington is well provided for with a butchers shop, two public houses, village hall, village stores, fish and chip shop, car dealerships and a primary school. 

At the centre of the village is the Church of St Andrew enjoying an elevated position.
